Michael Quast

Michael Quast is an experienced pianist and keyboardist with a great passion for jazz, soul and improvised music. He discovered the freedom of improvisation early on and developed his own style, combining virtuosity with sensitivity.

His international career has taken him from big bands in the USA to tours with artists such as Paul Young and numerous projects in Germany and Europe. Today he is in demand as a live and studio musician and brings this versatility to every performance.

In addition to his role as a keyboardist in various formations, he publishes under the stage name Amandus also his own smooth jazz productions - an additional expression of his creative range.

With his mixture of technical precision, joy of playing and musical openness, Michael Quast enriches the band with a distinctive timbre that lends depth and character to every performance.
